About Us Page
Justice Cancer Foundation is committed to the eradication of cancer.
Elayne Arterbery, M.D., a Radiation Oncologist and cancer specialist in Rochester, Michigan created the Justice Cancer Foundation after losing several members of her immediate family to prostate, breast, and lung cancer. She realized that these close relatives who had followed her oncology career had been, unfortunately, unaware of information and education regarding the most common types of cancer and were unfamiliar with basic screening methods. Coming from this background and propelled by a concern for future cancer sufferers and their families, she decided to start an organization that would be dedicated to awareness and education about cancer prevention.
The Justice Cancer foundation is dedicated to the education of patients and their families about cancer prevention and cancer awareness. Cancer will strike and affect more than 500,000 people per year in this country. Many people are unaware of the most common types of cancer and once diagnosed may not be able to access all the treatment options available to them.
Though its fundraising efforts and innovative outreach programs within the community, the Justice Cancer Foundation seeks to raise awareness about cancer prevention, and to emphasize the importance of early detection and screening. The main focus for this year’s campaign and fundraising efforts is Prostate Cancer.

PROSTATE CANCER
Many people don’t realize that prostate cancer is the most common non-skin cancer in America striking more than 232,000 men per year. This is even more cases than have been diagnosed with lung or breast cancer.

Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers in American men. Over 200,000 men will be diagnosed this year alone. While many men are reluctant to go for annual screening, which includes a PSA (blood test for prostate cancer) and rectal exam,
The Justice Cancer foundation has established a Pro Active Campaign to make the screening available at local Mall locations, thus making cancer awareness more accessible to the public. Our Motto is “Be safe, Be sure – Get a PSA!”
The PRO- Active Bracelet supports the fight against prostate Cancer and helps make on-site testing free at local Malls. Order yours for a loved one and yourself today
